Incredibly, we are just hours away from our 10th Annual Wellness Challenge! The 2025 edition starts on Saturday February 1st.
Our challenge for everyone is this: use February to build your wellness habits, and support research into Parkinson’s Disease.
Why do we do this? It’s a fair question. First, February is kind of a placeholder month – stuck in the middle of winter where it’s still winter and not yet spring. It can get boring. So, break the monotony by focusing on some kind of wellness activity for the whole month. Do more of it. Develop the habit of it. By establishing a habit over a whole month, you are more likely to invest in your wellness after that month has come and gone. So that’s a win. Learn more about the challenge (opens in new tab).
Second, our mom has Parkinson’s. We have seen first-hand how regular activity drastically improved her own wellness. Research bears out these positive impacts of movement and activity for people with movement disorders such as Parkinson’s.
